VILLAGE FACILITIES

RMIT Village Old Melbourne provides a unique community environment for residents full of good food, excellent facilities and pleasant outdoor areas for dining, relaxation and socializing with friends.

The Village opened on 31st January, 2005. It comprises of 228 apartments (in a variety of 1 bedroom apartments, 2 bedroom apartments & studios; 3 & 5 bedroom apartments) and 454 student accommodation beds.

The Village has a Business Centre to cater for your study needs, an outdoor heated swimming pool and BBQ area.

This all provides a substantial new living environment for both local and international students within walking distance of Melbourne’s Victoria Markets, the many university campuses located around us and the café society of North Carlton and Lygon Street. If you don’t want to walk, take a Melbourne tram and enjoy the convenience of being dropped back on our doorstep.

Old Melbourne Café Now Open

Enjoy a freshly made meal and hot coffee at our on-site café. Open five days a week for breakfast, lunch or morning and afternoon tea. The café can be made available for private functions our group dinners.
