The Personal Security of residents at the Village is one of our highest priorities. So, we use 'smart card' operated door locks, our pathways and entry doors are well lit and we have systems in place to help us in maintain a high standard of security.

North Melbourne is a safe place, however, like all metropolitan cities, it is important to take responsibility for your own safety.

Walk down main streets, try to walk or take transport with a friend, don't go through parks at night, always try to carry a phone with you and try to let people know where you are.
